O is so scary . . .
O means Office. That term is such a scary term to use…I mean has anyone ever look back and ask yourself how many times have you been stabbed stealthily on your back? Never? I suggest you better start doing it now… Or how many times have you ask yourself that you stepped into the office and ask yourself will you be the next victim? No? Now it’s the time to start this…
Hey, it’s true! I do ask myself these questions. I ask myself will I be the next? I ask myself will I be the one to go…
Well, apparently I got this call from my friend that she’s just received the axe from the firm. Telling her that her service is not required by the company. That came as a rude shock to her. I mean, she just gave birth to a cute girl and getting ready to go back to work next Monday and she received this shocking piece of news last evening.
I can feel her frustration in her last night. I can feel that there is sadness in her voice and tone. I try my best to comfort her. I tried my best do my part as her friend. I know what it’s like to be in that position. I know…I just know because…I choose to leave a firm that betray me and overwrite my decision without consulting me, even though I’m in the management position. I hate betrayal!
I’m glad that she’s starting all over again…looking for a new firm to join…I wish her all the best…
And here’s a piece of advice to those new jobbies or those arrogant young ones….the lest you know the longer you survive and be humble and laid low…do not over or out shine your senior…otherwise you will be in deep trouble…trust me…because I knew…
